The Amazing Three Clawed Lobster

I know something about lobsters. I have seen many lobsters. I have eaten many lobsters.

Now anyone who knows lobsters has seen culls.
Culls are lobsters that only have one claw.

I have seen unusual lobsters. I have actually seen blue lobsters. These are rare.

The most amazing lobster I have ever seen, is the Amazing Three Clawed Lobster.

I first became aware of this lobster while eating lobsters at Abbott’s. Abbott’s is located in Noank, Connecticut. Noank is right next door to Mystic, Connecticut. It is not the easiest spot to find, but when you get there you know you are in the right place.

Abbott’s is one of my favorite places to eat lobster. Now, you will not find the cheapest lobsters, but you will find good top quality lobsters.

That is where I saw the picture of the Three Clawed Lobster. Here it is:

The Amazing Three Clawed Lobster

As you can see in the caption, all three claws were fully functioning. Everyone who easts lobster knows that the best meat is in the tail first, and then the claws. I hope nobody got to find out with this guy. He deserves his freedom.

I’m hoping that they threw this guy back to the Atlantic so he could enjoy his lobster life to the fullest.

Or maybe he was lurking somewhere way in back of the lobster tanks.

You know, lobsters claws have two distinct functions: one claw is used for crushing while the other claw is used for ripping.

I’m hoping somewhere on the bottom of the ocean is a lobster ripping away to his hearts content.

Stay well, my lobster friend.
